Hyaluronic acid is injected under your skin with a fine needle. The treatments take ten to fifteen minutes. One of the biggest advantages of the filler used by us is the added lidocaine, a local anesthesia, that makes treatment almost pain free. Faces injected with hyaluronic acid appear fresh, youthful and radiant. Depending on the degree of cross linking the result lasts from six to twelve months. It should be noted that smoking and sun exposure accelerate the decomposition of hyaluronic acid. You can, however, inject the filler as often as you like.
One to two days after the surgery, the treated areas might be swollen. Please avoid direct sunlight during that time. Use cold packs to help reduce swelling.
